193. Removal of lawyer who has ceased to act on application of another party

(1) Where a lawyer who has acted for a party has died, has become bankrupt, has ceased to practice or cannot be found and the party has not given notice of a change of lawyer as required by Rule 201 any other party may apply, in accordance with the relevant practice direction, for an order declaring that the lawyer has ceased to be the lawyer acting for the other party in the case.
(2) Rule 192(2) applies where the Court makes an order under this rule and references in that rule to "lawyer" shall be read as references to "party".
